地元の方に教えていただいた豆知識。

「ホタルブクロが咲いたら、蛍が出てくる」

昔から続くこの知恵が、自然と人との密接な関係を感じさせてくれます。

花が咲くのを見かけると足を運びたくなる蛍の名所、面河の静かな森、大成(ｵｵﾅﾙ)。夕暮れ時、ここで幻想的なヒメボタルの光のダンスを観賞するのは、ここだけでしか楽しめない特別な時間です。

日常を少し離れて、自然の中で心ゆくまで過ごしてみてはいかがでしょうか。

Here’s a little tidbit I learned from a local resident.

“When the bellflowers bloom, fireflies will appear.”

This knowledge, passed down through generations, reminds us of the close relationship between nature and people.

When I see the flowers bloom, I feel like visiting the famous firefly spot, the quiet forests of Omogo, Oonaru. At dusk, watching the magical light dance of the Himebotaru fireflies here is a special time that can only be experienced in this place.

How about stepping away from everyday life for a bit and spending time to your heart’s content in nature?
